Bulgari Hotel Tokyo: A Luxurious Oasis in the Heart of the City

It is no longer surprising that luxury brands are now expanding into the hotel industry. In fact, it has become quite commonplace for luxury fashion houses like Armani, Fendi, and Versace to establish their own hotels. Despite the proliferation of luxury hotels, it is Bulgari that has truly managed to set itself apart from the competition and cement its position as a leader in the industry.

Marriott International's announcement on February 13, 2001, marked the beginning of an exciting new venture for both the hotel chain and Bulgari. It was a joint venture that would eventually lead to the creation of the Bulgari Hotels and Resorts brand. The initial discussions focused on potential locations for the new brand and, over time, these locations were realized one by one. The establishment of these hotels has solidified Bulgari's position as a top-tier luxury hotel chain, offering unparalleled luxury and impeccable service to travelers from around the world.

Today, the brand has opened its eighth hotel in Tokyo with great fanfare. As is tradition at the opening of Bulgari hotels, a celebrity was present at the opening party last night. The guest of honor was Anne Hathaway.

Yesterday, Bulgari opened its eighth hotel in Tokyo with great fanfare. As is the tradition at the opening of Bulgari hotels, a celebrity was present at the opening party last night. The guest of honor was none other than the talented and beautiful Anne Hathaway. Ms. Hathaway, who is known for her roles in such films as The Devil Wears Prada and Les Misérables, was the perfect choice to help celebrate the opening of this stunning new hotel.

The opening of the eighth Bulgari hotel in Tokyo is a testament to the brand's continued success and commitment to excellence.

The hotel is located in the Tokyo Midtown Tower, a skyscraper that stands at 240 meters tall and was constructed by the renowned Takahashi Construction Company, which has a reputation for excellence in the field of construction. The company has also constructed other noteworthy buildings such as the Ritz Carlton Kyoto, which is known for its luxurious design and excellent service. The Tokyo Midtown Tower, where the hotel is situated, is a modern architectural masterpiece that boasts breathtaking views of the city and provides a perfect setting for guests to relax and unwind. The tower is home to a multitude of shops, restaurants, and cafes, providing guests with a wide range of options for dining and entertainment. Overall, the hotel's location in the Tokyo Midtown Tower offers guests a unique and unforgettable experience that combines luxury, comfort, and convenience.

The hotel is located on the 40th to 45th floors at the top of the building.

The hotel's interior design is handled by the design team of Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), who is also the designated designer for Bulgari Hotels and Resorts. Below are some photos taken by our friend who checked in early at the Tokyo hotel:

As you arrive at the sky lobby, you'll find various sofas and seats with a homey feel placed in front of the fireplace and on both sides. The area features portraits of socialites wearing Bulgari jewelry. At the other end of the corridor is the window-side lounge area, offering a panoramic view of the ever-changing, bustling scene of the Yaesu commercial district where the hotel is located.

Il Ristorante - Niko Romito is a renowned restaurant located in the luxurious Bulgari Hotel and Resort. The restaurant is a true culinary gem, offering exquisite Italian cuisine that showcases the country's rich gastronomic heritage. With a seating capacity of 80, Il Ristorante - Niko Romito is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and intimate dining experience in a refined and sophisticated atmosphere. From the moment you step inside the restaurant, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming ambiance that is sure to make you feel right at home. The menu features a variety of traditional Italian dishes, all of which are expertly prepared using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Whether you're a fan of classic pasta dishes, succulent meats, or fresh seafood, Il Ristorante - Niko Romito has something for everyone. And if you're looking to indulge your sweet tooth, the dessert menu is sure to satisfy, with a range of delicious treats that are the perfect end to any meal. Overall, if you're a food lover looking for a dining experience that is both memorable and satisfying, Il Ristorante - Niko Romito is definitely worth a visit.

The hotel is a really fancy place with a total of 98 rooms. The rooms are made to provide the guests with the best possible comfort and come with world-class amenities. My pal stayed in a basic Junior Suite, which is a big room with cool decor and a modern, simplistic interior design. The room is perfect for having a chill and comfy stay. The hotel has put in some classic Bulgari stuff all over the room to give it a fancy and elegant touch. The design of the room is super carefully planned to seamlessly blend modern and classic styles.

So, the furniture in the room is from some fancy Italian brands like Maxalto, Flexform, and B&B Italia. They really add to the whole vibe of the city and you can even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji from the window.

Hotel room rates start at around 18,000 RMB per night, while the basic suite where my friend stayed costs nearly 30,000 RMB per night. The iconic Bulgari suite covers an area of 400m². Adjacent suites can also be connected.

Regarding dining options, in addition to Il Ristorante - Niko Romito and The Lounge, the brand new Japanese cuisine concept Sushi Hōseki, which made its debut at the Bulgari Hotel in Dubai, has naturally arrived in Tokyo as well.

The restaurant only has 8 seats, led by Japanese sushi master and Michelin 3-star chef Kenji Gyoten. The menu is specially customized by the head chef, making the dining experience a surprising adventure like opening a blind box.

In front of the Japanese restaurant is the Bulgari Dolci boutique, where you can enjoy delicious chocolates and a variety of traditional Italian pastries from the La Pasticceria - Niko Romito menu that is both visually appealing and tasty.

Located on the 45th floor of the building, the Bulgari Bar features a service counter designed with a highly Italian style handmade mosaic inspired by "Miracle Garden". On clear days, standing on the terrace, you can enjoy the distant view of the snow-capped Mount Fuji.

Additionally, the hotel's 40th floor features a 1,000m² Bvlgari Spa, complete with 9 treatment rooms including a spa suite and two couples treatment rooms.

Facilities such as a 25m indoor heated swimming pool and Workshop Gymnasium fitness center are also available.

As the 8th sparkling jewel in the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts collection, the grand opening of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo will undoubtedly become another important milestone for the Bulgari Group:
